Refund & Return Policy

At Scentessence & Alchemy Apothecary Co., every product is crafted with care and intention. Your satisfaction matters deeply to us, and we want you to feel confident in every purchase.

Because of the personal and consumable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns on opened or used items. However, we do stand behind the quality of everything we create.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, broken, or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the product and packaging. We will be happy to offer you:

  • A replacement item
  • Or a store credit for the full value of the damaged product

Returns & Refunds

  • Unused, unopened products may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be in their original packaging and in resellable condition.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved returns will be processed as either:

  • Refund to your original payment method (minus shipping costs), or
  • Store credit for use on a future purchase

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used candles
  • Opened or used perfumes, body oils, or body care items
  • Sale or promotional items
  • Gift cards

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing it. After this period, we cannot guarantee cancellation as your order may already be in processing.
